(Batman) a scientist creates a robot that can pass for a human and offers it to the GCPD as a cop. The robot is remote-controlled, and its operator is determined to prove it to be a better lawman than Batman. Over time, it comes close to replacing Batman but is eventually retired after it is found to be rendered inoperable by X-rays.
